A quiet room for Cuban cigars.
Spanish cedar, low light and long conversation. A walk-in humidor, an open-air terrace and a chair nobody will ask you to give up.

The Room
A lounge in the old sense. No velvet rope, no rush.
The walk-in humidor sits at the centre of the room. The terrace is open to the sky, as the law requires and the evening prefers. On a first visit, ask at the bar. Someone will walk you along the shelves and cut whatever you settle on.
The Walk-in Humidor
Spanish cedar shelving, held at 70% and 18°C. Cabinet and dress boxes on the wall, singles at the counter.
The House Selection
Puros from Pinar del Río and the Vuelta Abajo, in the classic vitolas, kept as they were rolled.
The Terrace
Open-air, heated at the edges. Deep chairs, low tables and one ashtray to a guest.
The Bar
Aged rum, single malt and espresso. Poured to sit beside the smoke, never over it.
Vitolas
Choose the shape, and you have chosen the evening.
A Cuban cigar is named by its vitola, a shape set by ring gauge (the diameter in sixty-fourths of an inch) and length. The shape decides how long you will be sitting down. The classics, drawn to scale.
Length to scale, full width is 194 mm The foot, where it is lit Smoking times are approximate
House Manner
A few old rules, kept for good reason.
Cut and Light at the Bar
Cutters and cedar spills are ours to lend. A spill lights clean. A petrol lighter carries fuel through the first third.
The Band Stays, or Doesn't
Leave it on, or slide it off once the first inch has warmed the gum. Both are correct. Tearing it off cold is not.
Never Stub It Out
Rest it in the tray and let it go out on its own. A crushed cigar sours the air for everyone.
Calls on the Street
Phones on silent inside. The terrace is for conversation, not conference calls.
The Chair Is Yours
Nobody is turning your table. Stay as long as the cigar lasts, and a good while after.
A Guest, Not a Crowd
Parties of six or more, let us know beforehand so the terrace is set when you arrive.
